Nollywood star, Funke Akindele walked down the aisle on Tuesday, 23, August, 2016 with her beau, Abdulrasheed Bello in London, United Kingdom at a quiet wedding witnessed by immediate family members, the best man, maid of honour, and friends with strong ties. 

The groom, Abdulrasheed aka Skilz is a multi-talented musician, music producer and a leading member of the JJC and 419 Squad based in London. 

Until his decision to marry Funke, he was blessed with three children who are grown up and living happily in the United Kingdom. 

The couple, in an official press statement signed by Funke Akindele’s publicist, Biodun Kupoluyi, revealed that they chose a quiet wedding in London because neither of them wanted to be on show or at the center of attention having been on that lane before.

“The decision to do it quietly was right for us and we pray for the understanding of our close friends and fans at this offer of a lifetime moment. At a good time, we shall look back and in appreciation of divine grace and your support, we shall celebrate milestones and where we are in life"

The couple who are currently on their honeymoon will soon return to Nigeria.

Nicki Minaj Acknowledges 360nobs By Noble Igwe For Giving Her Best Dressed Award

The MTV Video Music Awards have come and gone and it was a great platform for most celebrities to show what they have got in the ward robes. It is a normal occurrence to see all kinds of weird dresses during most of these awards platforms, especially by most American celebrities.

Some people not only dress weird, some go as far as almost getting Unclad and baring all for our eyes to see and at the same time, some are always superbly dressed.

We can all remember our own Yemi Alade considered among the best dressed by ELLE Magazine at the BET Awards some few months back

Nicki Minaj was considered as one of the best dressed by most fashion outfits and magazines at the VMA Awards, even though I don't really see what is best with what she wore as it was kind of obvious she didn't have any underwear on.

Watch Ghana Pastor Flog Two Teenagers Inside Church For Having Premarrital Sex

In a video which has gone viral on Facebook, Controversial Ghanaian Pastor Daniel Obinim could be seen beating the teenagers – whose names were not immediately known – with a whip. This was the same pastor who was seen anointing the joystick of his male congregant in a recent viral video. 

He accused the girl, as he lashed her, of having sex instead of focusing on work as an apprentice.

Whipping the boy for allegedly impregnating the girl, Obinim questioned how he was going to take of her and the baby since he (the boy) was unemployed.

At one point, the girl ran away after the beating became unbearable, but Obinim ordered one of his pastors to bring her back.

He continued the beating as soon as she was brought back, saying “Why are you such a fool. Why are you such a fool?” as he lashed her ferociously.

The two church members of International God's Way Church who are at the centre of Bishop Obinim’s flogging saga have finally commented on the issue.

During a live TV interview on OBTV, they stated the number of years they have been staying with the man of God who said they are his adopted children.

Eliasu Zakari, the young guy in the video which went viral, said he has been staying with Bishop Obinim for about eight years. Justina Nhyiraba Gyasiwaa also disclosed that she has been with Bishop Obinim since age 10.

During the TV interview, Zakari admitted that he slept with the young girl but hurriedly added that they did it once. He continued that the flogging happened at church three days after Gyasiwaa informed him about the pregnancy.

Stating why she wanted to abort the pregnancy, Gyasiwaa told the host she was afraid of Mr and Mrs Obinim. She revealed that she asked her sibling to bring her a medicine to damage the pregnancy but it did not work as planned.

Tiwa Savage Lands First International Collaboration With Rapper Young Paris

Mavin first lady, Tiwa Savage is ready for her first international collaboration since her ground breaking deal with Jay Z's record label, Roc Nation.

This was made public yesterday by her home record company, Mavin Records and also confirmed by Roc Nation.

“TiwaSavage and@YoungParis, last night in the studio,” Roc Nation captioned the photo of the two artistes lounging in a studio yesterday. And Mavin’s official Instagram added, “We up to something!”

This collaboration is coming just weeks after Tiwa Savage confirmed her deal with Roc Nation and has since been on her first US tour.
