Bola Tinubu's Son, Seyi To Wed In Milan Italy

If fortune can be harvested as gold and silver grapes and blessings flourish like leaves and silver fleurs-de-lys, the life-path and home of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu would glitter like a barn full of treasure and a life well spent. Tinubu is that powerful!

However, the idyllic city of Milan, Italy, will once again open its bowels to the crème of Nigerian society in few days, 9th and 10th August. Milan will creak at the eaves for Nigerian politicians. Seyi Tinubu, the son of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, two-time governor of Lagos State and All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, is getting married to Layal Holm, his Lebanese lover of months. Expectedly, Tinubu is leaving no stone unturned to give his son a wondrous wedding. Until their union, they were like jagged pieces of two glass hearts yearning for their missing parts.

Then they found each other and fit perfectly in place. The first molded with the second and in the heat of the moment, held from head to toe. A perfect masterpiece, a love so high it despises going low. Predictably, many people are eager to be part of the memorable celebration. Not a few people have been jostling to lay their hands on a copy of the invite, but unfortunately, it would be easier to embark on a round-trip through the Bermuda triangle than to get the invitation card. That is how scarce and exclusive the party would be.

Seyi is a Law graduate. He acquired his LLB degree from the prestigious University of Buckingham, United Kingdom. He acquired his Masters in Corporate & Commercial Law at the same university where he came out on merit. Layal on the other hand, is of Lebanese and Nigerian descent. She is said to be a brilliant consultant at foremost auditing firm, Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC). The 25-year-old is a graduate of Political Science and African Studies at the SOAS (School of Oriental Studies) University of London. She also has a Masters in Entrepreneurship & Business Management from the University of Surrey.

Pope Francis Falls In Poland During Mass (Photos)

The head of Catholic churches worldwide, Pope Francis was walking towards the alter in Poland, when he took a huge tumble and fell on the ground.

A group of other priests raced to help the Pope back to his feet just before the service began. Pope Francis was arriving to celebrate a mass at the Southern Black Madonna shrine of Częstochowa to mark the 1,050th anniversary of the Baptism of Poland.

Despite the fall, the 79-year-old Pontiff got back to his feet and continued taking mass in front of thousands of people at the venue and millions more watching on live streams around the world.

Hakeem Onilogbo is the 38 year old CEO of Hakeem Effects, aka Tricks International, a special FX and prosthetics company servicing many Nollywood productions in Nigeria. Based in Lagos, Hakeem was born in Ibadan, where he attended the Egba Comprehensive High School. From simple make-up retouching to elaborate creature-features, Hakeem Effects talks new development in Nollywood.

In Africa we have great screenwriters and stories to tell, but these stories do not complete themselves through mere acting alone. Special effects makeup enhances them. The lack of these effects have always been affecting our screen writers. It limits their writing skills and sometimes make the movies flop. The invitation to him to attend the Convention came from the highest quarters. At first he doubted its authenticity, because, in our country today, those bent on giving us bad name use every thing for fraud.

Well it required a few phone calls to confirm its authenticity.

I am thinking of making the letter public because of its consoling wordings. A paragraph proudly reads: "You are among few outstanding individuals we extended invitations to because, having followed your politics in your country over the years, we are convinced that you share a lot with our party. We are also aware of fundamental changes you brought to your country through belief in the rule of law..,"

Shall we sample the Oracle quietly seated at the Convention arena, sharing experience with like minds?"
